Our double rooms are just right for two. And never fear! You won’t be sitting on top of each other. Each double room has a king-size bed and plenty of room – 25 spacious square meters. Most of the rooms in this category have hardwood floors and balconies with a view! Some can even accommodate two children in addition to two adults. Please request extra space when you reserve if you’ll be bringing the kids on holiday.
Each of our rooms has its own fantasy flare. One is green, one is Nordic white and many look out on the green of the woods. One room is designed to resemble the cabin of a boat, another is in classic Tyrol style. Frida even offers a majestic royal suite, resplendent with brocade, a mirror wall and wood paneling. You can have your pick.

Inspiring and
always changing
Some time ago, inspired by our own travels, we decided to reinvent our house. We wanted Frida to be more cosmopolitan, we wanted to give her a more worldly, urban and eclectic vibe. Of course our first step was to hire help. But we didn’t want just any craftsmen – we wanted carpenters who could think outside of the box, who wouldn't brush aside our ideas or focus on conventional solutions. We needed someone who could get excited about our vision and help us to bring it to life. That's how we met Klaus and Georg. The unique reception area, crafted from old window frames and reused boards, is the result of our first joint project. The duo also helped us create two series of rooms and our brand-new panorama suites. They refurbished the Frida im Dorf apartments as well. ●
